— See all reviewsThe campsite is adjacent to a leisure center offering you a quiet place by the river opening onto two lakes. The view is magnificent, particularly from the island in the center of the second lake.
We also recommend sunrises and sunsets over the valley, in all seasons. Or the arabesques of the ice covering the lakes in January. You will also find the start of the path to reach Saint-Lary on foot (45 minutes walk).
From the Lustou, you have access in a few minutes to the stations of:
Please note that the ski areas are not accessible by public transport from the campsite.
It is beyond the marked trails that the mountain reveals its nature. Although busy alpine skiers, we often prefer the peace and quiet of hiking.
We advise you and accompany you on our snow-covered paths or not, on foot, in snowshoes, and even in sealskins, to make you discover the hidden treasures of our valley and beyond.
If the campsite was not on the French hillslope, it would be in the Bielsa valley. The Spanish sister of the Aure valley, open to France by the Aragnouet-Bielsa tunnel. In 40 minutes on a road in the middle of the mountains, you reach the southern side of the Hautes-Pyrénées, Aragon.
The climate is drier and generally warmer than on the French side. Going down towards the south, the temperature becomes milder and allows you to trade a gray day in the Aure valley or a trip under the Spanish sun; ideal for exploring the valleys or simply sitting on the terrace with tapas. At the end of winter, exotic hikes or snowshoe hikes reveal captivating landscapes.
